ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Hi, we are Bill & Beth Merryfield & we love all things old & primitive! We have spent years admiring, collecting & researching Early American furnishings & decorating to renovate our 210 year old Pennsylvania Federal Style home into an authentic nod to our Primitive roots. We took our passion for Colonial Primitives another step & began handcrafting & handpainting country smalls & primitive furniture to decorate our home & are thrilled to now be able to offer our primitiques to our fellow primitive collectors!
All of our pieces are handmade by expert woodworkers & cabinet makers (Bill, Jim, Paul, Steve, Floyd & Ken) & then the pieces are turned over for Beth's Signature Museum Quality Painting techniques, where we use old world painting techniques of wood graining, combing, crackling & an overall multiple step finish process packed with trade secrets to create an authentic looking, affordable reproduction piece of usable art. Our Primitiques' Artists are: Beth, Laurel, Gary, Danielle & Ann & each & every piece has our TLC!
