Damage/Breakage During Shipping Policy
Due to excessive damage suffered when shipping by common carriers, it is Primitiques, Ltd. policy that we are not responsible for filing claims for items damage or lost packages during common carrier (Fed Ex, UPS and/or USPS) shipment. We professionally package all of our items and strongly recommend that you choose to use a freight company who are experienced with handling furniture. We will gladly ship your item(s) with whatever company you choose, however, Primitiques is NOT RESPONSIBLE for replacing your damaged piece(s) when you choose to use carriers such as Fed Ex, UPS or USPS. We will do our best to make a new item for you in a timely manner but you will have to purchase the new/replacement item and receive reimbursement for your product and shipping loss directly from the carrier who is responsible for damaging your item(s). If item/items are delivered to you broken/damaged, you are responsible for filing a claim and collecting reimbursement directly from the shipping carrier. In order to do so, you must retain the original boxes/packaging in which the items arrived AND retain the damaged item(s) for a Fed Ex (or other) employee to inspect. You can call Fed Ex (or other carrier) directly to file a claim and provide them with the Tracking # on the shipping label. 1.800.Go.FedEx (800.463.3339). You can also go online to www.fedex.com to file a claim.
